Great service! Our food choices were not the best- we are willing to return and try again! The lady who her mother in law’s name is Gloria, served us exceptionally well when we visited before the new year during the holidays. My wife didn’t like her food and the lady was very gracious and served her a new meal of her choosing. The chef from the back even came out to confirm. The second meal sat better with my wife. We appreciated their hospitality.
Jamaican Gates never disappoints! I’m a regular, and I always order the oxtails and fish—both are consistently tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The rice and beans are a must-have side that perfectly complements the dishes. The goat curry was a pleasant surprise—I never thought I'd enjoy goat, but the unique twist they put on it makes it absolutely delicious and tender. It’s the perfect way to experience authentic Jamaican flavors without having to travel to Jamaica. My husband and I visit all the time, and we’ll keep coming back for the amazing food and warm, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I have been looking for a good Jamaican restaurant in DFW and I finally found one. Jamaica Gates is awesome! The food is very delicious, the atmosphere is great and their staff and leadership is unmatched. I am a happy camper now that I have found them. I highly recommend you try it out, you will love it as much as I do.
Food was great! Drinks were strong even for happy hour drinks. I got the chicken stew and my wife got the jerk chicken We also got the cocktail patties comes with three and perfect size for an a appetizer! Will be back.
Pleasant experience from the ambience to the food. This is the place we come to when we want authentic Carribean food. Edit- food is delicious as always, but I don't remember having to pay an extra 4.50 for a side of mac n cheese, so I didn't get it this time. I believe this is new and I don't like it. It's a regular side dish so im confused about the additional charge.
As a restaurant owner myself, I take my hats off to the owner and staff at this restaurant for offering top notch service to its guests. I forgot to take a couple pictures before the food was all gone. Me and the family went to this restaurant for lunch. I gave up searching in Texas for some good authentic Jamaican food because everywhere I tried they disappointed me. However, I must recommend Jamaica Gate for some good Jamaican food. I have the Kingston Trio, which comes with any three meats. Mine were the oxtails, jerk chicken and curry goat. They were all delicious with the right temperature and most importantly flavorful. I also had the opportunity to get a tour of kitchen and it was immaculately clean and organized. I will definitely be going back.
Everything was a 10/10 definitely some of the best jamaican food Ive had since I have been here in Texas and now I am obsessed. Great vibes, food , drinks & customer service .
